Wake from Dream | 醉醒
Wake From A Dream/醉醒,an original Chinese painting on Chinese golden silk in Germany in 2016,20''x 20''x 0.08''
I painted this piece after I woke up from a dream. This Chinese artwork is a record of my life to express how much I appreciate my life in Germany where I was live at the tine. The deer painting featured in the painting emphasizes on the details of fur. It is the feature of traditional Chinese realist painting (Gongbi/工笔画) which you can find a lot in my art work. If you are searching for special gift that will never be forgotten, or running out of 21st birthday gift ideas or art deco, my work will leave an impression anywhere it is hung.
On the back of painting, I made a Chinese poem in Seven quatrains. The calligraphy of the poem is Li Shu (隶书), an ancient Chinese character used in the Han Dynasty (206 B.C-A.D.220 ) Here is english translation of the poem below:
Wake From A Dream
Sound of flute from sky far away,
Fairy, deer and butterfly dancing on the way.
What a beauty, what a flower, what a dream.
Wake up, you found it was not a dream, but the real way!
